Discover the Perfect Wallpaper with Our Sample Prints
Before ordering your wallpaper in bulk, we highly recommend ordering a sample first — it's the best way to ensure you love the design, colour, and scale in your space.
To help you feel confident before committing to a full order, we offer samples of all our wallpaper designs.
Each 8" x 11" sample includes:
- A Full Wall Overview – a scaled-down version of the design so you can visualize the full pattern.
- An Actual-Size Portion – a true-to-scale section of the pattern so you can see its details and scale.
Why Order a Sample?
- View the design in your space under natural lighting conditions
- See how the colours work with your existing decor
- Test adhesion and compatibility on your specific wall surface
Tip: Tape your sample on the wall and observe it throughout the day to see how it looks in different lighting.
What You’ll Need:
- A clean, smooth wall surface
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Level or laser level
- Utility knife or scissors
- Squeegee or smoothing tool
- Step ladder
- Clean, dry cloth
Prep Your Wall
Before you begin, prep your space for the best results:
- Clean your wall thoroughly with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely.
- Make sure the surface is smooth, dry, and free of dust or oils.
- Remove any nails, screws, or wall fixtures.
- If your wall is freshly painted, wait at least 3–4 weeks before applying wallpaper.
⚠️ Textured or uneven walls may cause adhesion issues. Peel-and-stick works best on flat, painted drywall.
Step-by-Step: Peel & Stick Wallpaper
1. Start with a straight edge.
Using a level, draw a vertical line down from the ceiling to guide your first panel.
2. Peel and position.
Peel about 6–10 inches of the backing off the top of the panel and stick it to the wall, aligning with your guide line.
3. Smooth as you go.
Slowly peel the rest of the backing down while smoothing the panel with a squeegee from the center outward.
4. Match the next panel.
Line up the next panel edge-to-edge with the first. Our wallpapers are printed to butt up perfectly — no overlap necessary.
5. Trim excess.
Use a sharp utility knife to trim along the baseboards, ceilings, and edges for a clean finish.
Step-by-Step: Traditional Paste Wallpaper
1. Apply adhesive.
Use a paint roller or brush to apply wallpaper paste to the wall (not the wallpaper). Work in sections.
2. Hang your panel.
Align the top of the panel with the ceiling and press onto the adhesive, smoothing downward.
3. Smooth out bubbles.
Use a wallpaper smoothing tool to gently remove any air pockets.
4. Continue with the next panel.
Align your pattern edge-to-edge with the previous panel. Butt them together tightly.
5. Trim the edges.
Carefully trim any excess with a sharp blade.
Tip: Clean any paste residue with a damp cloth right away.
Panel Sizing & What to Order
Each wallpaper panel measures 19 inches wide and is available in varying heights.
To calculate how many panels you need, divide your wall width (in inches) by 19 and round up.
Example:
A 114" wide wall ÷ 19" = 6 panels
Make sure all panels in one space are ordered at the same height, as our wallpapers feature non-repeating, continuous artwork.
How to Remove Your Wallpaper
Peel & Stick Wallpaper
Removing our self-adhesive wallpaper is easy — think of it like peeling off a giant sticker!
- Start by gently lifting a corner of your panel.
- Slowly peel the panel off the wall at a 45-degree angle. Take your time to avoid paint flecking.
- For smoother surfaces like glass, use a hairdryer on low heat to soften the adhesive before removal.
Luxe Traditional Wallpaper
Removing Luxe Traditional Wallpaper is simple with the right tools and a little patience:
You’ll need:
- A sponge
- Cloth or towel
- A bucket of water
- A spray bottle with water
- Remove outlet and light switch covers.
- Spray each panel generously with water using a spray bottle.
- Use a sponge to press water into the wallpaper. Wait 5–7 minutes for the paste to reactivate.
- Slowly peel back a corner and remove the panel.
- If the wallpaper resists, reapply water and wait a few minutes longer.
- Once removed, wipe down the wall with a damp towel to remove leftover paste (ours is starch-based and won't leave stickiness).
- For a thorough clean, follow up with your favorite surface spray.
Bonus Tip: A clothing or wallpaper steamer also works wonderfully to speed up the process!
Removing Bubbles from Your Wallpaper
Bubbles can form when air gets trapped beneath your wallpaper panel. Here's how to safely remove them:
- Use a utility knife or push pin to gently poke a small hole in the bubble.
- Use your fingers or a smoothing tool to gently press the air out toward the hole.
Removing bubbles is important — air pockets can lead to adhesion failure over time.
Avoiding Open Seams with Luxe Traditional Wallpaper
Open seams may happen when installation or prep isn't quite right. Here’s how to avoid them:
1. Improper surface prep
Excessively absorbent or dusty walls can impact adhesion. Always clean thoroughly and prime if needed.
2. Uneven drying conditions
If the room is too hot or breezy, the wallpaper may dry too fast, causing seam tension and splits.
3. Inadequate paste on edges
Make sure the wallpaper paste covers the entire panel, especially the edges. When folding panels during prep, keep edges aligned and moist to prevent drying.
Peel & Stick vs. Luxe Traditional Wallpaper
When choosing the perfect wallpaper for your space, the material you select plays a big role in both style and function. We offer two distinct wallpaper types:
Luxe Traditional: Timeless Elegance and Durability
- Luxurious Thickness – Our thickest, most premium wallpaper for a rich, textured feel.
- Matte Finish – A non-reflective finish for an elegant, high-end look.
- Seamless Appearance – No overlapping panels for a polished result.
- Semi-Permanent – Paste-to-wall installation with long-term staying power.
- Best For – Living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, or anywhere you want durable beauty.
Peel & Stick: Easy, Versatile, Renter-Friendly
- No Paste Needed – Just peel, stick, and enjoy.
- Removable – Easily take it down without damaging walls.
- Great for Quick Updates – Perfect for kids' rooms, dorms, or seasonal refreshes.
- Lightweight Material – Sleek and simple for low-commitment projects.
- Best For – Apartments, DIY decorators, or temporary installs.
Can’t decide? Every design is available in both materials so you can choose the best fit for your project and lifestyle by ordering a sample.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are your products made?
All of our wallpaper is designed in Canada and printed/manufactured/shipped in the United States.
What surfaces are best for installation?
We recommend smooth, flat, and clean walls. Light textures like orange peel may work, but we suggest ordering a sample first to test.
Can I apply wallpaper on a textured wall?
You can, but texture may show through. For best results, apply on smooth surfaces.
Will the wallpaper damage my walls?
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper is designed to be removable with minimal risk to paint. However, we cannot guarantee damage-free removal in all cases due to different paint finishes and conditions.
How long will my wallpaper last?
With proper care, our wallpaper can last for many years. Avoid direct heat or sunlight for best longevity.
How fast is shipping?
Production takes 7–14 business days within North America. Once ready, your wallpaper ships based on the method you choose at checkout.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us — we’re happy to help!
Can I hire someone to install it?
Absolutely — many customers hire professionals for installation, especially for larger walls or traditional wallpaper.
Do you offer wholesale or licensing?
Yes! If you're a designer, brand, or retailer interested in working together, contact us here.
What wallpaper should I choose for my wallpaper/ mural?
1. Luxe Traditional Wallpaper – Our premium, flat-matte wallpaper made from thick, high-quality non-woven material. This is a long-term wall covering that requires wallpaper paste for installation. Ideal for creating a polished, elegant look that lasts.
2. Peel & Stick Wallpaper – A removable, self-adhesive wallpaper with a semi-matte vinyl finish. Just peel off the backing and apply directly to your wall—no paste needed! Perfect for renters or anyone looking for an easy, temporary update.
How big are the SAMPLES?
Each sample order includes two 8.5" x 11" sheets. One shows a full wall overview, giving you a mini version of the entire design, while the other shows a true-to-scale section, so you can see the pattern’s actual size and detail as it would appear on your wall.
Why should I order a SAMPLE?
We always recommend ordering a sample first, as lighting, wall texture, and surroundings can vary from space to space. The most accurate way to assess colour and scale is through a physical sample — we don’t suggest relying on digital previews for colour matching.
